Customers earn points for store credit, discounts, free products and free shipping. Add VIP benefits and referrals as needed.
Start with points and rewards
- Install from the Shopify App Store and approve the plan.
- Create earning rules, then activate them.
- Create rewards, review their terms and activate them separately.
- Add the Customer Rewards page and menu link for balances, activities and rewards.
- Test earning and redemption as a signed-in customer before launch.
Purchase earning starts at first activation. Drafts award no points or rewards.
Add more reasons to return
- VIP tiers: recognize spending with tier benefits and eligible upgrade gifts.
- Refer a friend: reward both customers after the friend’s qualifying first purchase and confirmation.
- Points expiry: choose fixed dates or activity-based lifetimes.
- Customer notifications: configure points, expiry and VIP emails.
- Translations: localize customer-facing content through Shopify.
- Shopify POS: let staff redeem eligible points from customer details.
